Recently, I spoke with a novice hobbyist just starting her journey into this underwater universe. As soon as I mentioned propagation, her eyes widened and she instantly deflated. Asking why she suddenly appeared deflated, she responded, “I just don’t think I have enough time to learn all of this.”

Why do you need a frag rack?
Essentially, frag racks offer the base on which coral frags are placed to grow. Small holes are drilled into the frag racks, which then support the newly transplanted coral on a frag plug.
